Vincent Dieutre, the great French filmmaker renowned for the very personal nature of his work, is given carte blanche with this master- class open to the public. An opportunity to discover his world: literary film that delves into the apparent banality of the visible. Whether he’s filming his Parisian district, confronting his love stories with History, or returning to Italy – the territory of rites of passage, where he discovered sexuality, drugs and the vio- lence of politics – his films are in the vein of autofiction opening onto the world.
