Women, a teacher and his pupils, immigrants, a mayor and a magistrate. A polyphonic portrait of Locride and Calabria, following in the footsteps of Elio Vittorini and his novel Conversazione in Sicilia. Tales of resistance and dignity take shape against a backdrop of a wounded Italy, not forgetting the roots of its culture. A film that bears witness to the complexity and cruelty of our epoch.
