Because of Salt

People living in a desert landscape that looks uncannily like one of those faux Mexican villages used in Italian westerns shot in Spain. A salt mine used to be there. Those that live there still remember it. The life pattern follows a placid daily rhythm. A visual poem about the resiliency of life, filmed with a gentle and warm humanistic observational style.
